The most important step in having your BKS key copied is to present your security card. You received this card when you purchased your BKS locking cylinder. It serves as proof of ownership and an authorization card that allows us to make key copies. Without this card, copying is not possible for security reasons.

What do I do if I lose my security card?
If you've lost your security card, copying a key becomes more complicated. In this case, you'll need to contact the locksmith in Vienna or the BKS dealer where you purchased the locking system directly. An ownership check or cylinder replacement may be necessary. Therefore, always keep your security card in a safe place.
