BASI keys, especially the patented systems (such as K6-RT, T250 or KS-2), offer active copy protection through special control elements in the key profile or in the cylinder (e.g. cross slide, freely mounted locking ball).

First, we need your original key. This is clamped into a high-precision milling machine. The machine scans the key's unique profile and creates milling patterns accurate to the millimeter.
This precise shape is then transferred to a new key blank. The machine mills the necessary patterns in reverse to ensure a perfect copy of your original.

What to do with protected BASI profiles?
If your key has a protected BASI key profile, we, as your locksmith service in Vienna, take special steps. We check your individual requirements and, if necessary, order the blank or key directly from the manufacturer. For this, we usually need your security card, which authenticates ownership. We handle the entire ordering process so that you receive your new key as quickly as possible.
